Dynasty 7
In the kinglist summaries from the third century BC historian Manetho, this is a group of 70 kings ruling 70 days: there is no evidence for this - it may be a later literary metaphor for chaos at the end of the Sixth Dynasty, chaos for which there is also no direct contemporary evidence.
Dynasty 8
Kings with unknown position:
Dynasty 9-10
There is no contemporary evidence for a division of the Ninth-Tenth Dynasties, and this may reflect only the way in which later kinglists were compiled, for example if written across two columns.
Dynasty 10
(see under Ninth Dynasty - the kings listed there belong in the 'Ninth-Tenth Dynasties')
Dynasty 11, first part, ruling only southern Egypt (2160-2025 BC)
