Tools for stone working
tools | It is not easy to identify the tools used. From marks left on the stone in quarries it has been concluded (Arnold 1991: 33), that soft copper chisels were used during the Old and Middle Kingdom. Harder bronze chisels came into use in the New Kingdom. | |
