The book 鈥溾�� (edited by Ofer聽Lahav聽et al., World Scientific) includes 27 chapters聽written by 88 co-authors, among them several current and former members of the Astrophysics聽Group.聽聽

The book tells the story of the DES project from original conception, the design and construction of DECam and early science results.聽 It聽includes chapters written for a non-specialist reader by DES scientists and a trans-disciplinary section, including inputs from a聽philosopher, an anthropologist, visual artists and a poet.聽
