Initial guidance on our call for abstracts and workshops, ahead of it opening in the week commencing 23 September 2024
We welcome submissions showcasing work related to behaviour change across topics related to health and/or sustainability, from both research, academia and those working in practice. Â
All abstracts should fall under the theme of behaviour change for health and/or sustainability. Abstracts should be no more than 350 words. Â
Abstracts for oral or poster presentationÂ
These can fall under one of the following two categories:Â
- Research: these typically present original research, often involving an academic researcherÂ
- Knowledge in practice: these typically showcase projects or products from a non-academic context (e.g. industry, charities, NGOs, government departments)Â
Abstracts for symposium or panel discussion / debateÂ
We welcome proposals for a symposium or a panel discussion / debate.Â
- Symposium: an overarching abstract, plus three ‘research abstracts’ from different authors and a final slot for a discussantÂ
- Panel discussion / debate: on any topic relating to behaviour change for health or sustainability, with at least 50% of the time for audience participationÂ
Proposals for workshopsÂ
We welcome proposals for workshops, to be held on Tuesday 1 April 2025. When submitting a proposal, we will ask you to provide: Â
- A summary of the workshop (no more than 100 words), explaining what the workshop will focus on and what attendees will learnÂ
- A suggested duration (full day or half day)Â
- A suggested price per participantÂ
- A suggested maximum number of participantsÂ
