°×С½ãÂÛ̳'s Animal Research Statistics for 2017 Published

As part of °×С½ãÂÛ̳'s ongoing commitment to increased openness regarding animal research, °×С½ãÂÛ̳ has published the annual statistics relating to scientific procedures performed on living animals in accordance with the Animals (Scientific Procedures) Act 1986 (ASPA) for 2017.

These figures were submitted to the Home Office to be incorporated in the National Statistics' release '' published on 19th July 2018.
The publication contains statistics on the regulated scientific procedures carried out on protected living animals in Great Britain each year, as reported to the Home Office by project licence holders via the 'Return of Procedures' (ROPs).
