Senior academic promotions for 2017-18 announced

Congratulations to members of the Cancer Institute who have been awarded a promotion in this year's Senior Academic, Research and Teaching Fellow promotions round.

, Research Department of Haematology
Professor of Haematology and Haemopoietic Stem Cell Transplantation
Rachael Hough is a Consultant in Haematology and Stem Cell Transplantation at °×С½ãÂÛ̳ Hospitals and an Honorary Senior Lecturer in Haematology/Transplantation at °×С½ãÂÛ̳.
, Research Department of Haematology
Professor of Experimental Haematology
Dr Derralynn Hughes is a senior lecturer in haematology at °×С½ãÂÛ̳, and has clinical responsibilities in the area of haematology and lysosomal storage disorders at the Royal Free London NHS Foundation Trust.
, Research Department of Cancer Biology
Professor of Molecular Biology
Dr Jenner leads the Regulatory Genomic Research Group at °×С½ãÂÛ̳ Cancer Institute. The group's research focus is to understand how access to the genome is controlled during cell differentiation.Â
, Research Department of Pathology
Professor of Haematopathology
Dr Marafioti is Consultant Haematopathologist at °×С½ãÂÛ̳H. Her research is focused on identification and characterisation of molecules as novel diagnostic and/or prognostic markers for neoplastic haematological disorders.
, Research Department of Haematology
Professor of Cancer Immunology and Immunotherapy
Professor Quezada's research lab is focused on understanding the mechanisms governing anti-tumor T-cell immunity and how these mechanisms can be manipulated for the generation of potent anti-tumor immune responses.
