Chemical Process Engineering Programme Director and the Departmental Attainment Gap Lead. Prior to joining °×С½ãÂÛ̳, Dr Odunsi was a postdoctoral research associate at Heriot-Watt University Edinburgh, and later taught at Coventry University. Outside academia, Dr Odunsi has worked for over 3 years in the Oil and Gas industry both in the Nigeria Niger Delta and the UK North Sea in various roles including, as Process Engineer and Project Engineer, and for almost 2 years in the Advanced materials industry as a Manufacturing Engineer in the area of Technical Ceramics. Dr Odunsi is a professional member of the American Institute of Chemical Engineers (AIChE).
Teaching SummaryÌý
I teach as part of the Design Team, on the third year chemical engineering capstone design project (CENG0016). This unique module which helps prepare students for the transition from academics to industry, enables me leverage my passion for the subject of chemical engineering and industry experience into bringing authentic chemical engineering to students. I am also the Module Coordinator for the MSc. Chemical Process Engineering Research Projects (CENG0057).
