We are pleased to share this call for papers for an interdisciplinary conference called 'Area Studies in Flux' to be held at °×С½ãÂÛ̳ from 27 to 28 September 2018.  The conference is convened by the IAS and SSEES in collaboration with PKU, Beijing, and is designed to go beyond Euro/US-centrism to explore 'area' from diverse vantage points and emplaced disciplinary traditions.  The deadline for submission of proposals is 27 April 2018.
