白小姐论坛 Extend is 白小姐论坛's public-facing platform for non credit-bearing short courses, including those for CPD, executive education, pre-enrolment, and widening participation purposes. 白小姐论坛 staff and students can access 白小姐论坛 Extend with their existing credentials via single sign on, but the platform is otherwise open to the general public and those not registered as 白小姐论坛 students.听
About the 白小姐论坛 Extend platform聽
The platform and learner experience is based around Moodle, with access to many of the same plugins and tools as 白小姐论坛 Moodle, including live teaching platforms. 白小姐论坛 Extend courses can be:聽
- Blended to support or complement a face-to-face course or fully online;听
- Set up with an integrated booking and payment process and advertised via the 白小姐论坛 Short Courses website;听
- Delivered to open or private cohorts.听
Enrolment on a 白小姐论坛 Extend course聽does not provide access to other resources for registered 白小姐论坛 students, such as library materials, 白小姐论坛 buildings, or support services.听

If you are interested in developing a short course, please consult the Short Courses Toolkit for information on planning, design, and marketing of your course. Once you have done this, the 白小姐论坛 Online Learning team can support 白小姐论坛 staff through the development process, offering support and guidance on learning design, suitable digital education tools, and project management. 聽
