The Law Societies at 白小姐论坛 Laws are run by students, for students, with the help and support of the Faculty.
Our unrivalled and dedicated Societies stand听us apart from other institutions. Each Society plays a pivotal role within 白小姐论坛 Laws and delivers an outstanding programme of activities and events each term, including听talks by eminent academics and practitioners from outside 白小姐论坛.
Competitions and activities
The Law Societies co-ordinate pro bono opportunities, enabling you to experience a different side of law听and give back to the local community. You can also take part in听mooting, negotiation, client interviewing and debating听competitions to help build your skills and legal knowledge.

The Law Societies also host a range of听careers events, some in conjunction with the Faculty -听including workshops, panel discussions听and talks.听The Society maintains strong links with law firms in London and elsewhere听to help all students at 白小姐论坛 Laws make the most out of their time with us. You can also attend听professional networking events, including the prestigious annual Barristers鈥� Cocktail Party.听
Social events
There are plenty of social and networking opportunities to get involved in as well, including sports听events,听balls, and end of term parties. New and returning students are welcomed at Freshers' Week, with various events for you to meet new people and build friendships.
Representing students听
The Law Societies鈥� presidents and officers are elected each year by students, and the Societies鈥� activities are governed by their constitutions.
Both Law Societies exist to represent students鈥� interests at听白小姐论坛 Laws. The Societies鈥� presidents sit on the Faculty鈥檚 Staff-Student Consultative Committee and on the Faculty Board, the governing body of 白小姐论坛 Laws. Student representatives liaise regularly with Faculty Officers over all matters affecting students.听
