Faculty of Life Sciences divisions awarded Athena Swan Bronze

The Athena Swan Charter is a framework which is used across the globe to support and transform gender equality within higher education (HE) and research.ÌýAdvance HE’s Athena SWAN Charter was established in 2005 to encourage and recognise commitment to advancing the careers of women in science, technology, engineering, maths and medicine (STEMM) in higher education and research.
We would like to congratulate colleagues in the GatsbyÌýComputational Neuroscience Unit and theÌýSainsbury Wellcome Centre who were recently awarded a Bronze Athena Swan award as part of a joint submission.ÌýDr Ana Saraiva Ayash and Mr Mike Sainsbury coordinated the Gatsby submission, and Professor Tom Otis and Mrs Lena Bach coordinated theÌýsubmission for the Sainsbury Wellcome Centre. The award is valid from 2021.Ìý
