Medical Physics Undergraduate Programmes

Discover where a undergraduate degree in Medical Physics could take you!

Medical physicists apply fundamental physical principles to improve human health. We are behind many of the lifesaving procedures and imaging carried out by modern medics, informing diagnosis, treatment, and the maintenance of health.

With a research focus on medical imaging, physiological monitoring and the development of implanted devices, our field offers the excitement of discovery and the reward of contributing to human well-being. From the simple finger pulse oximeter to the intricate magnetic resonance imaging scanner or complex linear accelerator for radiotherapy. None of these devices would have been developed without medical physics.

"I have so many fond memories of the last four years of my studies. I met so many inspirational people at °×С½ãÂÛ̳, both students and staff, and I really grew as a person as a result of studying in the Medical Physics Department. I am sad to see my studies come to an end, but I’ll always have the memories and know that I can count on the friends I’ve met along the way."
