By the end of this module students will be able to: describe a medical device in terms of its design and implementation, including aspects of sustainability, risk assessment, costing, ect; understand the legal framework in which a biomedical engineer operates; understand the processes required for problem solving and gain experience of solving realistic problems in biomedical engineering.
