Organisations across industry sectors are impacted by digital technologies at an accelerating rate. To survive and thrive, organisations are required to adapt fast and identify new strategic opportunities to create value for customers and other partners. Continous innovation, collaboration and unparalleled customer insight and foresight are at the heart of organisations that succeed in their digital transformation.
In this course, we will explore the impact of digital transformation on organisations, customers and wider environments. We will examine different approaches to becoming a successful digital organisation, while also shedding light on and discussing some of the ‘darker’ sides of this digital transition.
This course will use examples and case studies to develop students’ understanding of current business practices and will be underpinned by the latest academic research. Students will work on applied tasks, putting into practice frameworks to develop strategic digital business solutions.
