Topics will include:
1) Ageing and nutritional epidemiology
2) Different theories of ageing
3) Defining frailty – physical and cognitive
4) Nutritional requirement in older adults
5) Malnutrition in older adults, the ‘anorexia of ageing’ and dysphagia
6) Sarcopenia and cachexia
6) Osteoporosis and fractures
7) Physical activity and exercise
8) Nutritional management in care homes
9) Dementia and specialist feeding approaches
