Description
This optional module is aimed at students for whom a deeper understanding of anatomy will be an advantage in their career, such as those planning a career in sports science, clinical trials, biomaterials, regenerative medicine or public health.
Unlike traditional medical anatomy courses which focus on structure detail, our course is mainly interested in function. You will learn important anatomy concepts using the renowned Acland’s video atlas of Anatomy. Real-life case scenarios selected to illustrate the relationship between anatomy, function and disease will be studied interactively in small group tutorials using a sophisticated Picture Archiving Computerized System that allows each student the opportunity to recreate the imaging facilities of a hospital-based radiology department in their own laptops.
