- Russian Level 1 (A) (SERS0007)
This module is for affiliate students at °×С½ãÂÛ̳ in Term 1 only.
This is an introductory module in modern Russian language, designed for students without previous knowledge of Russian who would like to speak Russian or use the language for reading and research. All four major communicative skills (speaking, listening comprehension, reading, writing) are stressed during the academic year. This module introduces the Russian Alphabet, pronunciation rules, verb conjugations, grammatical case endings, basic vocabulary. It prepares students for continued study of Russian at a higher level. There are regular tests and students are expected to use the on-line workbook to reinforce their knowledge.
