'In Our Time' on Radio 4, hosted by Melvyn Bragg, focused today on a discussion on cancer and ageing by two academics from °×С½ãÂÛ̳ and one from the University of Oxford.

Steve Jones, Professor of Genetics in the Galton Laboratory at °×С½ãÂÛ̳ and Linda Partridge, Weldon Professor of Biometry talked about genetic mutation - which may explain the ravages of illness such as cancer, unlock the secrets of ageing, but can also explain life itself.
