The °×С½ãÂÛ̳ Chinese Students and Scholars Association celebrated the end of the Chinese New Year festivities with a variety show, produced in the Edward Lewis theatre in the Windeyer Building, with the expert assistance of the °×С½ãÂÛ̳ Union Stage Crew Society.

A capacity audience was entertained by a programme of comedy, dance, drama, songs and instrumental numbers all performed by students drawn from across °×С½ãÂÛ̳. The show was recorded for transmission in China by Jiangxi TV.

Among the special guests hosted by Professor Xiao Guo (°×С½ãÂÛ̳ Pro-Provost
for China, Hong Kong and Macau) was Ms Zhu Li,Ìý from the Education Section of China Embassy in UK, who has particular responsibility for student welfare.
