  • The °×С½ãÂÛ̳ Public Engagement Unit has new funding available for inventive projects that bring the public and the °×С½ãÂÛ̳ community together.

Individual projects can receive up to £20,000.

Dr Hilary Jackson from the °×С½ãÂÛ̳ Public Engagement Unit explained: "This funding is a great way to connect people outside °×С½ãÂÛ̳ with our research or teaching. It's designed to give °×С½ãÂÛ̳ staff and research students an opportunity to test out a new idea, with support and advice from °×С½ãÂÛ̳ Public Engagement and to help extend their networks within and beyond °×С½ãÂÛ̳. We hope staff and research students will contact us with ideas and we're happy to help shape applications in the run-up to the deadline."

For further information and funding criteria, follow the °×С½ãÂÛ̳ Public Engagement link above.

If you would like to discuss ideas or individual projects, please email Hilary Jackson and Steve Cross at publicengagement@ucl.ac.uk.

Please note: The deadline for funding applications is Friday 9 July 2010.
