°×С½ãÂÛ̳ Study Abroad Fair - 3 November
27 October 2011
Students interested in studying abroad as part of their °×С½ãÂÛ̳ degree are invited to this year's annual Study Abroad Fair on Thursday 3 November.
Attendees will have a chance to talk to returning students about their experiences, as well as meeting students from overseas institutions who are currently studying at °×С½ãÂÛ̳. Members of the °×С½ãÂÛ̳ Study Abroad Team will also be on hand to answer questions and offer advice to students thinking of undertaking a placement abroad.
Anthony
Grout (°×С½ãÂÛ̳ Study Abroad Team) explained: "Studying abroad offers exposure to a
different cultural and academic environment. Spending a prolonged period in
another country can be challenging and rewarding, helping to improve
self-confidence and give students the chance to hone a variety of skills which
are highly regarded by employers."
"This fair is a great opportunity to meet other students who have already benefited from studying abroad, and to talk to overseas students currently doing a placement here at °×С½ãÂÛ̳. The Study Abroad programme is just one of the ways that °×С½ãÂÛ̳ prepares its students to become global citizens who are culturally aware, willing to embrace leadership, ambitious yet ethical and professionally mobile."
°×С½ãÂÛ̳'s Study Abroad Team provides a number of additional services for students, including preparation guides, briefings and information sessions for studying abroad. It also coordinates °×С½ãÂÛ̳'s exchange programmes and provides help and advice on issues like accommodation and financial support.
The Study Abroad Fair will take place in the South Cloisters from 5-7pm on Thursday 3 November. For more information, please visit the link below.
