Generation UK-India cultural immersion programmes

°×С½ãÂÛ̳ students have the opportunity to apply for an exciting two-week cultural immersion programme in India, supported by the British Council and UKIERI, and delivered by IndoGenius.
Since 2009, 1,115 UK students have come to India on the UKIERI Study India Programme. Inspired by its phenomenal success, and the life-changing experiences it has provided young people from across the UK, the British Council is launching Generation UK-India. IndoGenius, delivery partner of UKIERI Study India, will be running several cultural immersion placements this summer.
Immersion programmes
There are 400 places available this year on three themed programmes:
- : Experience India through the lens of what gets made here. You will interact with artisans in rural Rajasthan, witness high-tech manufacturing in Gujarat, be inspired by slum entrepreneurs in Mumbai and meet policy makers in Delhi.
- : This flagship programme includes time in the megacities of Delhi and Mumbai. Apply today for the intensive, immersive introduction to Indian culture, religion, history and business, including time on campus with peers.
- : Calling all entrepreneurs and those interested in the impact of technology - visit Mumbai and Bangalore and meet those seeking to solve global challenges, as well as those building the next billion dollar businesses.
Anyone
over the age of 18 can apply for the and programmes - including graduates.
The Ìýprogramme is open to anyone over the age of 18 enrolled at a UK university at the time of application.
Successful applicants will need to pay for their international flights, vaccinations, insurance
and pocket money - all other costs (e.g. accommodation, food, transport, tuition,
excursions etc.) are fully-funded.
