Junk in the trunk scheme: volunteer now
22 May 2015
Junk in the Trunk is °×С½ãÂÛ̳ Student Accommodation's reuse and recycling scheme to try and ensure as many of the items that residents leave behind in June and September are reused or recycled, rather than sent to landfill or incinerated.
Last year year's scheme collected about 3.8 tonnes of items, of which only 5% went for incineration. Many items were taken by other students and staff for reuse prior to collection by our reuse and recycling partner London Reuse Ltd.Ìý
