Take part in 5 minute anonymous survey on aphantasia

9 November 2017

Have you ever heard of aphantasia? If you can spare 5 minutes you will know more about it.

Aphantasia

Aphantasia is a term coined in 2015 to describe a condition where a person does not possess a functioning 'mind's eye'. In other words, they cannot conjure up an image in their mind when a scene or situation is being described in words.

There has been a surge of interest in the extremes of the human experience of visual imagery: both in those of us who lack the ability to visualise at will (aphantasia), and in those with superabundant imagery (hyperphantasia).

We are looking at whether this has a relevance with respect to career choice, and are looking for volunteers to complete a totally anonymous questionnaire which will only take about 5 minutes to complete.
