The Government has confirmed that universities and schools should remain open, and °×С½ãÂÛ̳’s campus will remain open with safety measures in place. Any in-person teaching that is currently scheduled will go ahead as planned, and you should attend any classes you have on campus as normal, while continuing to follow the guidelines for safety on campus.

However, there are now restrictions on meeting others indoors if you are from different households. Students should be aware that, from midnight on Friday 16 October, there should be no mixing of households in indoor spaces.

For °×С½ãÂÛ̳ Halls, a household is defined as people you share a kitchen with (and a bathroom where applicable).

From Friday night, please ensure that you stay within your own households, and continue to follow safety guidance at all times. This includes:

  • Keeping a social distance of 2 metres
  • Regular hand washing
