Dr Kate Cronin-Furman
Biography
I am an Associate Professor in the Department of Political Science and Director of theÌýHuman Rights MA. Prior to joining °×С½ãÂÛ̳, IÌýwas a postdoctoral fellow at the Harvard Kennedy School’s Belfer Center for Science and International Affairs and Stanford’s Center for International Security and Cooperation. I received myÌýPhDÌýin Political Science from Columbia in October 2015. IÌýalso haveÌýa Juris Doctor and haveÌýpracticed law in New York, Cambodia, and The Hague.
Research
My research focuses on human rights and on the prevention and punishment of mass atrocities. I am one of the conveners of the , which provides methodological and ethics training and support to researchers working in violence-affected contexts.
