Dr Seebal Aboudounya
Biography
I completed my PhD in International Relations from the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE). Prior to joining С̳, I was a Fellow at the LSE’s department of International Relations. I completed my Master’s degree in International Studies and Diplomacy at the School of Oriental and African Studies (SOAS). Here, I was awarded the prizes of Best Student Profileand Best Dissertation.
I received my undergraduate degree in International Politics from King’s College London. I was ranked the top student and awarded the prize of Best Overall Performance of the Year for all three years. I graduated from King’swith First Class Honours.
In 2022, I was awarded the African Women Award for being “an outstanding African Woman Achiever in International Relations”.
Research
My research interests and expertise include: International Relations, International Public Policy, International Institutions, the International Maritime Organization, deliberation/deliberative democracy, International Development, International Environmental Politics, African Affairs, International Law, Shipping/Maritime Affairs, Diplomacy, Sports and Diplomacy.

Teaching
I currently teach courses on International Public Policy and Global Environmental Politics.
