The Baxter Healthcare Scholarship aims to provide scholarships to enable UK students to pursue an undergraduate degree in Engineering at °×С½ãÂÛ̳.
Eligibility
Eligible candidates must:
- be domiciled in the UK with Home fee status;
- be in financial need as assessed by °×С½ãÂÛ̳;
- be ofÌýBlack-African or Black-Caribbean descent
- hold an offer of admission to °×С½ãÂÛ̳ to study a full-time undergraduate degree in the Faculty of Engineering SciencesÌýfor the 2024/25 intake.
Value, benefits, and duration
The award provides £25,000 per year for a threeÌýyear undergraduate programme and is subject to satisfactory academic progress. The awardÌýwill be applied to cover tuition fees first and the rest will be paid as maintenance allowance.
If a student on a four year undergraduate programmeÌýreceives this award, payments will be made pro rata, i.e. they will receive £18,750 for each of their four years of study.
The successful awardee will also be offered the opportunity to undertake an unpaidÌýinternship at Baxter Healthcare and/or participate in a mentoring scheme.
One award is available per year.
Selection
The criterion for awarding the bursary is financial need and you will need to demonstrate this in the application.

Results
