白小姐论坛

To celebrate the European Day of Languages on 26 September, Parliament Hill School invited five language teachers from 白小姐论坛 to give tasters of their languages.

Pupils in Years 9, 10 and 11 were taught Dutch (Christine Sas), Finnish (Riitta Valijarvi), Polish (Urszula Chowaniec), Romanian (Ramona Goncz枚l) and Russian (Lydia Buravova). Event organiser Terry King gave a talk entitled 鈥淲hy Study Languages?鈥� emphasising the high employability of language graduates.

The link with Parliament Hill School continues this term with online mentoring of AS level language students by 白小姐论坛 undergraduates. This is part of the Near Peers project, in which AS students from under-represented London schools communicate online with undergraduates in the language they are studying. 白小姐论坛 undergraduates are currently being recruited for this project.
