Make an annual declaration of interests
This guide tells you how to submit an annual declaration of interests. Senior staff must submit a declaration every year by 31 July, even if their interests have not changed or they have no interests to declare.
Before you start
You must submit an annual declaration if you areÌýa senior member of staff. This includes:ÌýÌý
- heads of divisions andÌýdepartments
- staff at grade 10 or above
- staff with a delegated authorisation limit of £75,000 and above
- the Provost,ÌýVice-Provosts, andÌýVice-Presidents
- the Chief Operating Officer
- members of the Provost’s senior management team
- directors of a subsidiary companiesÌýof °×С½ãÂÛ̳

- 1. Access the system
Access the ‘Declaration of interest’ section ofÌýInside °×С½ãÂÛ̳

Log in to .
Select the 'Declaration of interest' button.

Enter or update details about your interests, or record that you have ‘no interest to declare’.

If you have no interests to declare this year, select ‘No interest to declare’ and then complete your nil declaration by clicking ‘Submit’.
If you have a newÌýinterest to declare, select ‘Declare an interest’ and enter the details of your interest:
- Select the type of interest from the dropdown list.
- Complete the other fields with as many details as possible, including the relevant start and end dates.
- If the interest type selected is ‘Consultancies’, add the number of days in the ‘Consultancy days’ field.
- Check the information is accurate and select ‘Submit’.
You'll need to repeat this process for each interest you have to declare.
If you want to renew an interest from a previous year, find the interest you want to renew under 'Your declarations' and select 'Renew'. Add the new 'end date' and make any other changes before selecting 'Submit'.
