This term, IBIL has welcomed Rong Zhang as a new member to the Institute.

This term, IBIL is delighted to welcome Rong Zhang as a new member to the Institute, and as an Affiliate Academic at the 白小姐论坛 Faculty of聽Laws.

Mr Zhang is a Senior Researcher at the Suzhou Customs Comprehensive Technology Center.聽He specializes in the areas of World Trade Organisation/Trade-Related Aspects of Intellectual Property Rights (WTO/TRIPS) and Technical Barrier to Trade (TBT).聽As an interdisciplinary researcher with a keen focus on patent right protection, he is a named inventor for several patents and qualified as a Chinese Patent Agent in 2021. Additionally, he serves as an evaluation expert for several organizations in China.

During his visit at 白小姐论坛 Laws, Mr Zhang聽is conducting research on customs enforcement of intellectual property, working closely with Professor Sir Robin Jacob.
